| Learning to
Live Together in a Christian Way |
| "Learning to live together in a Christian way" is
the motto of Camp Wright. Since 1930, Camp Wright has provided young
people challenging and fun outdoor experiences in a Christian setting.
Since 1996 Camp Wright has offered day camp programming for young
people finishing grades K-6. We also offer 2 sessions for middle school
students. All campers who attend will have the opportunity to build
teamwork skills, develop self-esteem, foster creativity and learn
respect for the environment by participating in a variety of camp
activities in small and large groups. Camp Wright is operated by the
Diocese of Easton of the Episcopal Church.
Campers do not have to be Episcopalians to attend.
Activity periods for our youngest campers will
include a selection of arts & crafts, nature study, group games,
introduction to boating or bible stories/Christian education. In
addition to those activities, for older campers completing grades 2-6,
choices will also include archery, canoeing, sailing, sports, or
Christian education activities.

| Leadership Camp:
Finding the Leader in You |
| Counselor-in-Training
(CIT) program for students completing grade 8 or 9 prior to summer. One
of our goals at camp is to foster growth and empower our campers.
Leadership Camp will provide young people with the opportunity to build
self esteem and learn what being part of a team means through various
challenges dealing not only with camp, but with life decisions as well.
CIT's will facilitate selected camp activities as well as participate
in round table discussions that will deal with the different aspects of
leadership. A ropes course experience will show campers that they can
indeed overcome a challenging situation and gain confidence in their
abilities. Each CIT will attend a two-week session. Check back soon or
call for schedule and pricing. |
