Check takes place between 9:30am and 11:30 am on the first day of resident camp each session.  Please plan to be at camp for at least an hour helping your child get settled and properly checked in.

On the last day of resident camp, parents and families are invited to celebrate Eucharist with us in the outdoor chapel at 9:00.  Checkout will begin immediately after Eucharist and continue until 11:30.

Check in and     Check Out Information

The following information applies to all Resident Camp, Sr. High Leadership, and Specialty Camp programs.  For Day Camp registration information, visit the Day Camp page.

How to Register: Camp Wright registration may only be done through the mail. Please take a moment to look over our registration policies before continuing with registration.  We do not accept phone, fax, e-mail, or credit card registrations.  A space will only be held once a registration form and deposit are received in our office.  A deposit of  $85.00 is required for all Resident Camp, and Specialty Camp programs except Christmas Session which requires a $150.00 deposit.  Day Camp deposits are $35.00 per session. The deposit will be applied to the total session fee.

Full payment of the session fee and completion of the camper health form and emergency release form are due three weeks prior to the start of camp. Health forms received after the three week due date will result in a late registration charge of $25 per camper and possible cancellation from your session. These policies are in compliance with Maryland Camp License regulations and other saftey issues. Please plan ahead! Health forms cannot be accepted on opening day!

  • Camp Wright is a program of the Diocese of Easton and therefore allows a priority registration period for campers from the Diocese.
  • Priority registration is also given to campers returning from the previous summer.
  • No priority will be given after new camper registration begins.
  • Registrations received early will all be treated equally as if they had arrived on the opening day of registration.
  • Scholarship campers should send their registration form to their sponsoring agency or parish for confirmation of the scholarship or provide the deposit with their registration form.

Bunkmates: Our goal is that camp will be an experience that involves meeting new people as well as spending time with old friends. When cabin and age-group size allow, we avoid putting large groups of friends together. We will work to honor one mutual bunkmate request. This means that both campers need to request the other person viar written correspondence. Request should be of a camper that is the same gender and similar age or grade. Bunkmate requests are not guaranteed.

Refunds/Cancellations: Registration fees are applied to the session fee total.  Deposits are nonrefundable after 45 days prior to the start of the session and no refunds are given after May 31st. Refunds will be issued when the session is full at the time of registration or the session is cancelled by Camp Wright. Session fee is forfeited if a camper cancels or withdraws during a session or less than two weeks prior to the start of camp. Session fee refunds or adjustments are granted at the sole discretion of Camp Wright.

After Registering: After your registration/deposit are received and processed a confirmation packet will be mailed to the camper address.  Included in the packet will be a confirmation letter, release form, health history/examination form, and a list of what to bring.  The letter to parents, release form, and general camp information page, including a list of what to bring may be downloaded.  You can request a replacement confirmation letter or health history/examination form from the registrar.
